Also placed among Top 10 Engineering Services Vendors and Top 10 Emerging ADM Vendors globally
  August 25, 2010
ITC Infotech, a global IT services & solutions company and a fully owned
subsidiary of US $6 bn ITC Ltd, has featured as a Top 100 service provider by Global Services 100 (GS
100). The company is also placed among the Top 10 Emerging Application Development & Management
Vendors and Top 10 Engineering Services Vendors globally. The company has been recognised for its
excellence in service delivery and maturity to serve the global market.
The GS 100 selects companies for this listing based on rigorous methodology and creation of value to the
services buyer community. For inclusion in the GS100 ITC Infotech was assessed in four key areas.
Management Excellence, the first area of assessment, was judged on revenue, growth, profitability and
expansion as well as several other performance indicators. The second area, Customer Maturity, was based
on existing and new customer engagements and also verticals and geographies represented. The third area,
Global Delivery Maturity, measured the global delivery footprint, development of solutions and total number of
people employed. Finally the Breadth of Services Portfolio included the scope of capabilities and service
offerings across ITO and BPO, domain expertise across verticals and the ability to serve niche markets
  among other factors.
"Our in-depth domain knowledge across industry verticals coupled with proven technical expertise enables us
to provide customised and innovative services and solutions to our clients. This focus on consistently
delivering business value to our clients has led us to be featured consistently in the GS100 list of leading
outsourcing companies since the inception of the GS100." said Khem Aithani, Senior Vice President, ITC
  Infotech.
"2009 was a tough year for the outsourcing industry. Service providers in the GS100 list are typified by their
resilience to weather the economic downturn, the ability to retain market leadership, and the flexibility to play
by the changed rules of the industry" said Ed Nair, the Editor of Global Services.
"There is a recognition in large companies that outsourcing as a means to reduce costs has had its time;
these companies are increasingly looking at services providers being able to make their operations more
effective globally and even to transform key areas of their business. The GS100 companies are the ones who
are delivering on these fronts and are equipped to demonstrate new forms of value in outsourcing to their
clients," says Atul Vashistha the chairman of Neo Advisory who worked alongside Global Services to conduct
  the survey.
About the survey

The top 100 list is decided using a scientific research methodology based on over 200 data points and several data parameters.

A weighed scoring scheme was used to rate each of the above areas based on a scoring scheme designed by a panel from Global Services and Neo-Advisory practice experts.
