Classmate's heartfelt initiative - Mail Today
August 26, 2013
Soha Ali Khan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Terence Lewis and Ravinder Singh took part in a panel discussion to interact with 3,000 students in Mumbai, and with over 35, 000 students across 14 cities to highlight the benefits and problems of choosing an off-beat career path.
The session organised by Classmate by ITC 'Follow Your Heart' emphasised the importance of exploring your true calling- by believing in your interests and talents. All the panelists shared their own experiences on how they took decisions during their formative years, which led to changing their paths.
Chand Das, chief executive, ITC's Education and Stationery Products Business said, "Children today have moved beyond the conventional career choices of medicine, engineering or finance. We have been able to reach out to 38, 000 students directly through this simulcast and many more on digital platforms like facebook".
