ITC Infotech to expand campus in Kerela Technopark - The Times of India

Speaking to IANS, the Technopark official said that ITC Infotec currently operates with around 100 staff; the firm is now going to avail another one lakh square feet space in the third phase of Technopark, where work has been completed. A record one million square feet space is available here.
"This year, they will see their staff strength increase by 1,000 and when fully operational in the new space, it will have a strength of 5,000," said the Technopark official who did not wish to be identified.
Headquartered in Bangalore, with wholly-owned subsidiaries in UK and USA, ITC Infotech services has three centres in the country including Kolkata.
The third phase of Technopark is a state-of-the-art twin tower with one million sq.ft built up area, comprising Aanamudi and Ponmudi, named after two mountain peaks in the state.
ITC Infotech thus will join HCL, Oracle and CapGemini, who have already taken space in the third phase.
The new facility is Asia's largest buildings to get Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design gold rating from the Indian Green Building Council for energy efficiency. It has an exclusive bowling alley, incubation centre, conference hall, bank, ATM, cafeteria, gym, swimming pool, shopping malls and food courts.
With the commissioning of the third phase, the total area of Technopark, including phase I, II and III, will be 333 acres, with a total built-up area of 7.1 million square feet. Presently there are more than 270 companies providing direct employment to more than 37,000 IT/ITES professionals and 150,000 people indirectly.
